First of all, I didn't really "decide" to attend college. It was just the next level of schooling for me. My whole life it's been from one form of school to another (elementary to middle school, middle to high school). So, more or less it was something that was decided for me, back at Magnet everyone was smart and it was a college prep school. Everyone there (including friends), instead of asking if you're going to college or not, ask what college you're going to. I honestly don't know one person at my high school that isn't going to college. It's just what you do.
I haven't made any sacrifices getting here, it was easy to get accepted since I'm an intelligent kid. With financial aid I'm able to easily pay for my tuition and make extra money back. I really don't think I'll be making any sacrifices along the way either, I have a fun major that involves me doing something I'm good at and something that I love. I'm not sacrificing time, I spend less time in school because of the hours and the scheduling. There's not a lot of hard work to it, college makes it easy to put in more effort.
TL;DR - I have nothing to complain about and life is good!
